It’s time to move ‘The Elf on the Shelf ” concept to the classroom. “The Elf on the Shelf” concept is the wildly popular home method of getting kids to behave during the days leading up to Christmas. The child is told that Santa sends elves to watch kids and report good or bad behavior. A toy elf is set at a different location each day, and “watches” the child’s behavior during the day.
