The walk Michelle Obama didn’t walk in Chicago today.
I heard Michelle Obama’s talk to Chicago corporate and political leaders about gun violence on TV this evening.
“Hadiya Pendleton was me,” Mrs. Obama said, referring to the Chicago high school student who was gunned down after returning from Washington, DC having marched in the Obama inauguration.
Michelle Obama was very moving in her words and in the sincerity of her voice.
What she didn’t do this morning was walk the walk that many more Hadiya Pendleton’s will have to walk next
