Dear LAUSD Stakeholders:

On Monday, October 8, 2012, LAUSD Employees, Elected Officials, Board Members, Community Partners, Student Leaders, Parent Representatives, and other stakeholders are invited to attend the “LAUSD State of the District Address."

Superintendent John Deasy will use this forum to share the District’s steady progress toward making certain that all students graduate college-prepared and career-ready. He will also share the 2012-15 Strategic Plan that includes LAUSD’s initiatives and strategies for success which serve as a roadmap for students, teachers, staff, parents, and community partners, as we collaboratively work together to ensure that all youth achieve.

Seating is limited for this event; therefore, stakeholders interested in attending this event, must RSVP to reserve a seat.

Time:             4:30-5:00 p.m. – Registration
                       5:00-6:00 p.m. – Meeting 

Location:      Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools 
                       Cocoanut Grove Theater 
                       701 S. Catalina Street, Los Angeles, CA  90005                       

Parking:        Parking will be available in the school parking lot located on 8th St. 
                      (near Catalina St.). There is very limited street parking. Carpooling 
                       or public transportation is recommended.
