Registration for the NEA RA is now closed The NEA Representative Assembly is the largest democratic deliberative assembly in the world. California sends more than 1,000 delegates to the NEA RA each summer. During this annual meeting, CTA members help set policy and chart the direction of NEA business through participation on various committees, constituencies, caucuses, and leadership groups.
The 2012 theme, "NEA: We Educate America," is the cornerstone of all we're about. The 2011 convention underscored NEA’s readiness to increase our advocacy on behalf of students, public schools and our outstanding members; this year promises to continue that commitment and goal. NEA is focused on moving forward with action to achieve our vision of Great Public Schools for Every Student by 2020.
