Chino Valley district to delay start of Mandarin language academy

Chino Valley Unified kindergarteners will have to wait at least another school year to learn how to speak Mandarin. Board members recently reversed a decision to implement a foreign-language academy in the district in the fall.

Superintendent steps down for SD High School principal post

After months of management changes and uncertainty, San Diego High School will fall under new leadership come September. The oldest school in San Diego Unified School District will drop its communications academy and shake up the management of the five remaining autonomous schools. The campus will also eliminate its campus-wide principal position.

Antioch High improvement bond to be placed back on ballot

Antioch High School will have a second chance to receive a new look. More than 70 parents, teachers and staff picketed Tuesday outside Central High School to protest pay raises given to the district's top administrators last month.
