Renowned educator and civil rights leader Linda Darling-Hammond
is one of the most well-respected voices on public education in the
world, serving as Stanford University faculty, as a board member of the
National Council on Educating Black Children, and as a key member of
a great number of national and international civil rights and education
organizations.

Dr. Darling-Hammond has conducted cutting-edge research that raises
the severe problems with VAM and has helped in many states and cities
where teacher evaluation debates have been boiling.
As someone who has supported community organizing and unions for
decades, Dr. Darling-Hammond is strategically positioned to
play a key role—being a voice that is respected by district and
state administrations, union members, and community
organizations alike.
