Currently, all voucher approved private schools in Indiana are religious. 79 Christian schools and one Islamic.

School vouchers allow students to spend state money, normally distributed only to public schools on a per-pupil basis, at the school of his or her choice — public or private. This only applies to a student’s foundation per pupil allowance as determined by the state’s school funding formula. Additional funds allocated for students enrolled in free and reduced lunch programs are not transferrable.
